Cest cassé by Paul Ward (Paulo) in Lyon

Cest cassé

t's a broken washing machine. Each year it gets worse it loses more socks, there's more rust in the drum and last year it even shredded your favourite jeans. The last time you did a load you lost your finger to it's jagged edges as it flooded your kitchen so badly you had to rip up the floor. This year will bit different though won't it? You've agreed that just because it's been awful in the past and hasn't seen an expert for as long as you can remember, it will definitely clean your clothes problem free! It's not about a washing machine is it. Another in a series of paintings discussing the ridiculous state of affairs.
