Ceiling artwork in a restaurant by LidisArt in London

This was painted 8 years ago in Stretham, london on the ceiling of a restaurant. It was trial and error with the pattern as I started by using stencil paper, but after a few unsuccessful attempts at dealing with the sticky stencil paper and the laws of gravity, I decided to make a cutout in a piece of light wood. I still wasnt happy with results so I did the rest by hand, with a ruler. That was challenging, and a bit sore on the neck! Once that was completed, I moved on to painting a few clouds in the centre. I used a mix of wall paint, a touch of spray, a few sponges and a dry paintbrush for the clouds.
