Cangaceiro
A cangaceiro was a criminal who operated in the Brazilian Northeastern backlands, mainly between 1870 and 1940. They were known for stealing and doing whatever they wanted.
They were nomads and lived on the run.
They were pursued by police troops or other gangs.
They were organized in groups or acted on their own.
They were hired by farmers to carry out militia work.
Meet the Artist
Davenport, United StatesI am a Brazilian artist. I seek realism but I like to use vibrant colors. I love painting, I work with themed holiday houses… painting characters and set design effects… then I venture into other styles and formats like sculpture, art has been in my life since I was a child, I don't remember it outside of my life. I started professionally making t-shirt prints. I love mixing styles as ingredients to create something new! But I also paint some minimalist work, it all depends on the spirit! I worked for a while in Boston painting signs and billboards, I was lucky enough to do some murals. I hope to do big murals in Florida too!
