Cailin Neathair - Snake Girl
Street art piece that depicts a woman and a serpent. This piece is a commentary on the myth that Irelands snakes were banished by the Christian religious leaders. These ‘snakes’ were a metaphor for mysticism and the old Irish belief systems. Right now, we are living through a cultural revival of Irish symbols and myths, so I decided to paint this piece to honour my heritage.

Limerick, IrelandI’m an Irish artist based between Limerick City who specialises in spray paint and acrylic mediums. I also work as a tattoo artist and an illustrator. I started painting street art in 2019 and have recently completed some murals in Asia. Right now I am working on a mural series painting photo realistic animals in Limerick City and would love to explore that more. I also paint illustrative pieces that showcase Irish culture and the divine feminine. I would love to travel abroad to paint.
