Browns Bay - Beautification by Juliana Coelho in Auckland

This project was an opportunity for children to get involved, engage positively with police, and learn more about public art. The total area has approximately 50sqm, and after the painting was done, it was applied a protective coating. The walls were water blasted, two base coats of Resene “Frozen” paint were applied. Participants: Amanda Gunner, Northcross Intermediate art teacher and her art extension students, as mural painting volunteers. S/Sgt Kirsty Winthrop and her colleagues, Helen Smith, Victoria Short and Alexis Poppelbaum of the local Boards, and Mandy, assist Juliana on the day.
