Brittania street by Samuel in Woy Woy
Brittania street
I was asked to paint the outside of a garage, recently converted into a living space.
I was provided a landscape that the client liked as reference to their idea in mind.
First I supplied a digital image to the client, to show what the mural will look like. Once the image was agreed upon the mural was created.
Meet the Artist
Woy Woy, AustraliaI love to paint murals with spray paint.
I have been using spray paint since 2001 or so. But always intrigued since an early age. Good fun.
I have been lucky enough to paint a few commission peices, but would love to paint more.
I've always liked drawing since an early age. I find it calming and productive.
I've designed quite a few tattoos for friends, but mainly use to sketch to discover flows and ideas.
I have painted canvases for friends, myself and for art shows in Sydney. Including two live shows, one at a drum and bass gig and one out the front of a nightclub.
I recently started using procreate to digitally design graphics.
So I guess my artwork consists of words, landscapes and characters.
I find inspiration in large scale murals, that transform blank, often vandalised walls or structures into landmarks that are an interest to look at. I love the process from the design to the end result.
