9.3 x 2.4 mt mural co-designed and painted with residents of The Cocoon building (St Kilda) managed by charity Bridge it. The ideas came from the residents in a series of workshops and the aim was to show different things that made them feel joyful, relaxed, supported and safe, as well as some other fun random ideas!
Meet the Artist
Melbourne, AustraliaHola! I'm Gustavo, an Illustrator and graphic designer from Mexico City based in Fitzroy, Naarm/Melbourne. I love working on murals, posters and projects with a focus on arts, music, community, education, science and social change. I love creating bold, colourful graphics and complex compositions with lots of detail! I aim to inspire and change the world through my artwork.
Teaching is also my passion, over the last 16 years I've taught creativity and design workshops and short courses in Australia, France, Colombia, Bolivia, USA and Mexico.
I'm inspired by cartoons, films, music, food, skulls and nature.
