Brave New World by Political Satirical Pop Art in Berlin
Brave New World
What is behind the beautiful appearance, behind the supposedly harmless everyday life? Based on Aldous Huxley's dystopian novel “Brave new world” (1932), this work aims to draw attention to the conditions and changes observed in 2008. Social change has already begun: the controlling Internet, social media are in their infancy, the global economic crisis of 2008/2009 shows the interconnectedness of the banking and real estate sectors. Where is the global financial crisis leading? The global shift towards the transparent individual is already underway. Which ideologies will we serve and when will we expose them?

Meet the Artist
Berlin, Germany„I aim to present critical conditions through exaggeration, projecting my overstated perception of our everyday reality onto people or objects via the image and the title. I define my works as ‚Political Satirical Pop Art“.
The exploration of society in the context of the charged dichotomy between power and oppression, law and freedom, is sometimes discreetly, but sometimes also entirely directly, a constant in the works of my works. These works describe societal phenomena that are perceived as “disturbed.” Contemporary themes, issues and events are subjected to artistic reflection and examined in terms of the collective influence of media, politics and history on the individual. These are the sources of my works.
I also utilizes the language of Pop Art, which is both figurative and realistic. Formal structures collide with the figurative image. Evocative visual symbols are incorporated into structures of form, color, line and composition based on painterly technique. Within this context, the selection of motifs is shaped by the philosophy of Critical Theory.
In addition to security products — or devices I begun to explore subjects related on different context.
My large-format acrylic paintings, on socially relevant themes are accompanied by collages on paper caricaturing current events in politics. Word-image constellations to experiment with writing as a graphic element within painting and object art.
