Brand Collaboration Packaging Illustration
A limited edition packaging design, illustrated for a collaboration between Wristcheck and Doughbeings - for a set of Bombolonis gifted to Wristcheck VIPs celebrating Mid Autumn Festival. The design was created to be printed as a card and slotted under a cut-out inspired by moon phases, and featured the brand's signature tones of blue as well as line drawings of elements that resonate to the brand audience.
Meet the Artist
Brisbane, AustraliaI'm an Australian born mural artist and illustrator who has recently moved back to Brisbane after spending most of my working career in Hong Kong - I started freelancing outside of my day job in 2017, and began working on graphic design, calligraphy and illustration projects. After participating in the 2017 HK walls street art festival, my focus transitioned into painting nature-inspired murals and commissioned illustrations for a range of clients - including restaurants, hotels, retail stores, offices, private residences and yoga studios. Clients include luluelmon, Carlyle & Co./The Rosewood Group, the Arca Hotel, DBS and HSBC, and I've been featured and interviewed for a number of magazines and publications as well as filmed an interview segment on TV. I've also worked with government and organizations to organize community co-creation projects with children and the elderly. My aesthetic focuses on elements of nature, using a muted colour palette, with designs considering the overall space the mural is a part of. Illustrations are largely inspired by the little moments in life that bring peace and joy - with all my artwork, I'd be happy if it can bring a moment of serenity or make someone smile, even if just for a minute.
