This is one of the final pieces in my sustained investigation of nostalgia in my AP Art class. The reference for this acrylic painting was a photo I took of my board game shelf back at home. As you view the painting from left to right, you begin to notice the detail and color fade away to represent the gradual decline in childlike interest of mundane activities.

Meet the Artist
Chicago, United StatesI am a college student currently studying Music Ed at Olivet Nazarene University. Previously studying Studio Art, I have taken college level courses for art throughout high school gaining awards for my pieces in events such as the Scholastic Art Awards and a finalist position in a local Fine Arts Showcase. I have a love of all things color, and enjoy excelling in all types of mediums, as I am a lover of learning! You will notice a lot of my portfolio pieces reside from my AP Portfolio, where I themed it on nostalgia and the use of color to demonstrate the emotion.
