Boodja Mooling
This ibis is my section of the City of Vincent's Kaadajiny Lane revitalisation project. The project saw 3 Indigenous artists collaborate with two indigenous artists to create a 50m long piece of art. My contribution is a mixed media work which is 15m wide by 2.5m high. The work depicts an Australian white ibis which is endemic to the area as it searches a nearby wetlands for food.

John is a Perth-based contemporary urban artist, whose vibrant creations have adorned walls across the USA, Canada, and Australia. Beyond the extensive portfolio lies a unique fusion of art and purpose.
With a BCA in Fine Art from the University of Western Australia, John brings not only technical skill but a passion for community engagement. Drawing inspiration from a background in youth work and tertiary teaching, he crafts experiences that go beyond the canvas. One notable example is an award-winning mural co-created with students from Port Hedland Senior High School, showcasing his commitment to the transformative power of collaborative art.
