Bonhill Bridge, Alexandria by Barry in Glasgow
Bonhill Bridge, Alexandria
This artwork at Bonhill Bridge was commissioned by the ‘Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’, formerly known as Sustrans. The path that runs underneath the bridge is part of the cycle network that runs along the River Leven in West Dumbartonshire. The artwork on the wall next to the path features local wildlife of the area with a sunrise/sunset backdrop. This would be the best time of the day to see most of the animals.
Meet the Artist
Glasgow, United KingdomI am a Glasgow based artist who works mainly with spray paint, acrylic paint and inks. Murals make up the backbone of my work but I also enjoy illustration projects and quirky projects such as painting on furniture or objects in the public environment.
I enjoy painting in many styles and like to be versatile in my approach to design and style. I do tend to head toward nature based, organic styles in my murals though!
I also work digitally, mainly for illustrations and graphic design using Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Procreate. I’ve also recently started using Nomad Sculpt to begin working in a 3D environment.
I like to keep my creative flow active and enjoy trying out new techniques, styles and applications.
