Bodybooks
Bodybooks was developed as part of my thesis work and shown at the Lehman Art Gallery in NYC. The following image shows one of the books from the series, the Spine Book. All of these drawings were made using pen and nib, and the covers were collages beads and jewels. The size of the book when open is 36 inches x 24 inches. (90cm x 60cm). Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesI am an interdisciplinary artist based in the Bronx focusing on community projects, activism through book arts and fantastical topics. I create murals, prints, sculptures, pop surrealist paintings and illustrations (digital and ink). My book arts practice binds together these different strands to communicate my streams of consciousness about my identity, feminist and queer issues.
