Hello! I am a CT, U.S.A. based artist and simply put art is my love language… it’s how I best communicate to the outside world and to myself as well. I have been a working artist for 25 years, I also was an art educator for 15 years, leaving the classroom in 2021. I think of myself as an artist who is not tied to one specific style or subject matter, although a good amount of my work is realism and I have done a lot of portraits over the years! I love painting murals though!! The size and scope, as well as the chance to creatively enhance a space, and its viewers/patrons has always been an exciting and inspiring artistic journey for me! Lastly, I enjoy making art for myself and sharing those painted thoughts and emotions with others… but I get the same level of satisfaction working with clients, brainstorming and eventually helping them articulate what they want the art to communicate, and then seeing it come into existence… it is very rewarding, particularly if the art can help people or a community!
