I use the bodies of beautiful men and women as a canvas. We work together to create an imaginary skin - a painted landscape of the heart and soul.
HBO did a short documentary on my work painting bodies. It was aired in 2000 - and caught the entire world’s fancy…influencing the world to tattoo their skins as I do with my painted imagery.
The process is very intense - I paint mostly with an airbrush - and takes many hours to create - magical perfection…. I photograph the result when done, creating my photographs and capturing the art we have created together with my camera lens.
Meet the Artist
Toronto, CanadaA Renaissance woman … I am a painter, photographer and sculptor. Creating large abstract works on canvas, often in multiples that fit together to create larger expandable works thrills me ! I also enjoy figurative painting and create art with a magical, fantasy feel on canvas, wood panels and paper and portraits with a fantasy element.
My bronze sculptures are cast from wax originals , making them completely unique.The jewelry I design is like miniature sculpture made in gold and silver with precious stones.
My work is collected by both individuals and corporations, including ITT International, Canada Post, Gordon Lightfoot, Diana Ross and Lennie Kravitz are a few past clients.
