Bloom

Bloom refers to the point in ones healing journey when the breakthrough happens and you can begin to see the world more clearly. I believe she serves as a reminder to women who might be working through a difficult time, that things will get better and nothing is permanent. She brings a sense of calm and warmth to a room with her gentle presence. This is an original artwork made from layers of textured acrylic on a marine ply substrate with a recycled oak box-frame, 64 x 84. The figure is drawn in charcoal, overlaid with white acrylic.
