Bioluminescence 16 x 20

If you’ve ever had the joy of seeing bioluminescent algae, it is a sight to behold. I have experienced it twice, in the San Francisco Bay Area & Jamaica. Because it doesn’t photograph all that well (long exposures are tricky if you’re moving on the water), I wanted to see if I could recreate the beauty of the glowing organisms lighting up waves in the middle of the night.
