I love portraiture and working from a photograph is my practice. Detail is my thing. Many of my favourite works are inspired by by women from the times of the Chinese Dynasties, creating magnificent head dresses and costumes, These will be both in oil and I often use mixed media using jewellery pieces, beading and fabric. I also have an interest in anime. These I I paint in oil, preferring acrylic to work fast creating the abstract works that have often got me a place as a finalist in Art Prizes.
