His art is as diverse as his origins. Alain Mayda Leanza alias Rodeos Kidding was born in Rimini (Italy) in 1984. His roots: Italian, Spanish, French and Turkish. This colourful cocktail of influences has shaped him ever since. He also had the opportunity to travel the world at a young age. Colours, cultures and the cities he saw shaped his views and eventually manifested themselves in a far-reaching passion. Since spraying, his first experience as a writer and graffiti artist on the streets of Milan with the popular crew WDS FIA, his hunger for creativity has never been satisfied. He is constantly creating, whether on walls, as a painter, creating recycled art or working as a graphic designer and illustrator - using all kinds of techniques from graffiti to free hand painting on various materials such as canvas, plywood, ceramics and wood as well as digital programmes for illustration and graphics - for himself, for clients or in collaboration with artists of all kinds. ARTISTS STATEMENT. His stage name Rodeos Kidding stands for exactly that: never leaving the stage (rodeo), always creating, always taking on a new challenge and never taking anything too seriously. That is his vision and mission. His development has no defined objective, it’s all about the joy of creating and his work is proof of that. As a versatile graphic designer, as he describes himself, he then also dedicated himself to photography and, more recently, digital art - in order to have a comprehensive 360° expertise. Werkbeschreibung WORKSHOP. In this pyrography workshop you will learn the art of wood burning using the hot wire method. You will learn how to set up the tools safely and master key techniques such as texturing, shading and finishing to add a personal touch to a range of designs. You will have the opportunity to use different points on a hotwire machine to find out what works best for you.
