Babbel Summer Party by Toni Prediger in Berlin
Babbel Summer Party
The relaxed atmosphere at Babbels summer party was enhanced by an open tape art workshop. All employees were invited to create small 20x20cm artworks. At the end of the event each artwork was collected and kept. The artworks were then put together like a tile wall at Babbels Berlin office, representing each employee’s importance in their community.
Meet the Artist
Berlin, GermanyToni is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice centers around the innovative use of adhesive materials.
In her artistic practice, she engages with the inherent limitations of the material, questioning its intrinsic immiscibility and resistance to transformation in form or color, breaking them open through artistic intervention.
With a background in philology and law, her practice is deeply rooted in a critical engagement with sociological norms, interpersonal dynamics, and a strong sense of justice.
This dialogical perspective shapes her understanding of space as a dynamic relational field rather than a static construct.
Shaped by a fascination for boundaries—and transcending them—her installations detach from traditional formats, seamlessly flowing across walls, ceilings, and floors.
This spatial fluidity shifts perception and establishes a dynamic interaction between artwork and surrounding architecture.
Combined with a refined sensitivity to color, rhythm, and proportion, Toni extends this artistic approach into interior contexts. She develops atmospheric spatial concepts that respond to both human dynamics and architectural structures, creating environments that are spatially precise and experientially resonant.
