AYLESBURY community art project
Featuring ‘Aylesbury’ block lettering with each letter designed by a young person, representing what they love about the local community, a positive affirmation graffiti ‘tag’ wall to bring positive messages and some vibrant colour to the community, and various other images representing the local community or promoting positivity - all designed by the youth group. Painted as part of a community project completed in association with Buckinghamshire county council. This project involved working with a group of NEET youths from a local charity ‘Youth Concern’, teaching them how to plan, design and execute the project. We completed a number of spray paint workshops and all got involved to create the finished murals in Vale Park Underpass, for the community to enjoy in Aylesbury!
