This artwork was conceived and created through an intuitive process, utilizing multiple layers of artistic media. The foundational layer, composed of gesso, serves as the foundational background for the integration of various recycled materials. These elements are precisely selected and arranged to infuse the piece with distinctive textures and forms. Following a thorough drying phase, the canvas is then vivified through the application of acrylic paints. The piece is a tribute to abstract art, employed as a medium for the expression of my deep reverence for geometric forms and color intensity. The artistry lies in the understated elegance of the color scheme and the textural depth, rendering a piece that is deceptively simple yet profoundly inspirational. The composition is anchored by a contrast of hues, placing light against dark, symbolizing the perpetual cycle of renewal and awakening represented by the natural world. This concept is captured in the title "Awakening," a metaphor for the daily metamorphosis from darkness into light.
