Avatar Aang loves to feel the wind on his head, and what better way to do this than with his favorite Pokemon?
This piece is illustrated to celebrate my favorite cartoon and to stretch my creativity. By seeing who would be best paired with Aang, if he and Pokemon were to ever encounter one another, I can further imagine a world where these wonderful franchises could thrive together.
The piece is mixed media with a water color background, drawn in pencil, while the foreground is rendered with Copic tech pens and Photoshop.

Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesI've tabled at comic cons for years and now have a self published series of books focused on the beauty of the world we live in. I've taken my song writing and poetry skills to write the books, and took my experience as a comic illustrator to create these inspiring stories. I have since written and illustrated comics for anthologies and have created an 85sq ft mural at a chicken wing restaurant in NYC.
