Ella is an Australian musician, former children's Television Presenter and Visual Artist. Music and creativity have always been a huge part of Ella's life from a young age. Growing up painting was always an enjoyable hobby, a way for her to relax and escape during some of the ups and downs in her professional and personal life. However her unique style of paintings started to catch the eye of friends and a wider network , requesting commissions for canvases and murals at some South Australia's most popular venues including the Sky City Casino, Seamores and Sunny Side Henley Beach. Ella seeks a lot of inspiration from the colours and movement of nature with her paintings being described as French Impressionism with a mix of Expressionism with her use of abstract colours and wild brush strokes. With a passion for sustainability , Ella uses recycled canvas's or paints when she can and for framed pieces, works with her sister who creates frames out of recycled timber or fallen trees from their Adelaide Hills home. Ella is capable of creating original designs as replicating others with different styles with recent large scaled pop art and abstract styled mural commissions as well as painting interesting objects like surfboards, musical instruments and recycled materials. 'My main aim when I'm doing a piece, whether it's a commission or personal piece, is to make the viewer feel a sense of happiness or connection. Art is one of those things like music, where there is really something for everyone, it's like a universal visual language, where you don't need to understand it to appreciate it ' I am available to travel interstate and overseas for commissions.
