My name's Kyan, and I'm an ex-hospitality-worker, full-time freelancer, self-taught artist from Edinburgh, Scotland. My experience with painting chalkboards came from my years in the bar trade; starting with being entrusted to write the specials board, to updating chalkboards across the whole pub. I started painting boards as a side hustle in other venues for about a year, and as of December 2024... I took the leap to go full-time with my business. I'm learning as my next steps to work with different mediums. My dream is to paint signage and murals.
