This piece was inspired by my city Auckland and its distinct skyline. I wanted to create something detailed, expressive, and full of character, while keeping the linework loose and hand-drawn. I love working on illustrations like this because they let me capture a sense of place in a way that still feels personal to my style. It also reflects my interest in creating artwork that can live beyond the page, including across prints and textile-based projects.

I create portraits, custom illustrations, and fashion and editorial-inspired pieces, with a strong eye for detail and composition. Sketching and drawing are a big part of my creative process, and I love bringing ideas to life in a way that feels expressive, elegant and meaningful.
