I have hosted some workshops for kids at the Vanier Community Center.
I enjoy working with kids as I grew up helping my mom with her own business where she does art with kids. I have learned to be patient and attentive to each kids needs. The important thing here is to create, let the inner child out and have fun!
Meet the Artist
Gatineau, CanadaHello ! My name is Sara and I am a Canadian-Lebanese autodidact artist. I grew up in beautiful Republic Democratic of Congo and the well known city of Montreal. I am currently based in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. My art journey started in 2021 as I was finishing my political science degree at the University of Ottawa. After my graduation in June 2023, I have been focusing on creating art and pursuing my yoga teacher training certificate while working full-time. Art and yoga are a tremendous part of my life and healing journey.
Art is for everyone to feel - my intention as an artist is to make art that will make you feel something. I navigate in the themes of spirituality, oneness, cathartic feelings - and incorporate my yogi aspect to it. I mostly work with oils and acrylics and strive to learn new techniques along the way.
