Arashiyama
This is an original piece, based on a recent vacation in Kyoto, Japan. I basically translated the bamboo forest called ‘Arashiyama’ into a work of art. The two green lines represent the rows of tall bamboos and the orange bars represent the ‘torii’ path leading to the shrine.

Singapore, SingaporeCreating art is a God-given talent, that’s why I keep doing it to honor Him. It feels natural, it warms the soul and it beats being behind a desk all day long. I was behind the desk for 30yrs as an art director, until the end of 2020 that is. Market was bad, I was let go and here I am, decided to go full-time in the arts. I’ve been painting since the early 90s, using my spare time away from my day job. Numerous paintings later here I am ready for more. I currently have three styles going on here, but let me know what you have in mind, I may be able to create that vision for you!
