Meet the Artist
Orlando, United StatesI am an artist located in Windermere, Florida. Originally from Miami, Florida where I attended New World School of the Arts for Fine Art and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Art with minor in Art History. I am a Disney college program alumni. During my Disney career I had various roles as a cast member. Began as studio production intern this lead to teaching Disney Wonders of art classes with Disney University and teaching cel painting classes in Disney Feature Animation classroom. Taught art courses at Disney's Institute resort which included Disney Art History, How to draw Disney characters, Into to Animation and Comic Strip course. Worked for Disney Youth Education Series teaching art course on how to draw Disney characters and cel painting (formerly Disney Wonders of Art program). As an independent artist I have worked as in house artist for Cafe Tu Tu Tango, in Miami. Painted several murals for businesses, homes and even a couple boats. As an illustrator I've worked freelance for companies and on my own. I've Illustrated and written several coloring workbooks for children who have suffered through natural disaster with University of Miami's Medical School's department of Epidemiology. Coloring books and teaching workbooks have been used by school systems in English in the US, Creole in Haiti and in Spanish in Honduras. As an art teacher I've worked as an art teacher at St. Philip's Episcopal school. Later owned and operated Abrakadoodle Art Franchise in Miami. With Abrakadoodle I ran and taught art programs for various schools' art programs, enrichment programs, birthdays and large corporate events. Since resigning from Disney I work from my home art studio on custom commissioned art work, teach and do private art events. Virtually I teach art classes to school groups online. Clients commission me for custom artwork on various mediums like canvas, bags, boats and murals. And some art events include Gary Sinse Foundation's Snowball Express at Disney teaching large groups of children how to paint animation cels and private art parties at Disney's Golden Oak.
