Animals to the rescue by Stuti Gupta in Calgary

In my art, I express the deep love I have for creativity. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the endless possibilities of different artistic mediums. I love playing with textures and experimenting with paint to bring mood and emotion to my pieces. I begin with layers of spray paints, inks and acrylic washes to lay a foundation of visual textures. To bring brightness and vibrancy to my paintings, I end them with luscious layers of oil paint. The beauty of nature is a major source of inspiration for me, especially the incredible wildlife that surrounds us. I’m also deeply intrigued by the mysteries of the cosmos and the wonders that lie beyond our world. Through symbolism, metaphors and visual elements, I strive to reflect the deep truths of the universe and our responsibility as humans to care for our planet while reaching beyond the stars.
