ANCESTRAL BLOOMS by ERYKAH JENNETTE in Kilkenny

I am a freelance, abstract artist from Adelaide, South Australia. I started experimenting in abstract art from 2023, simply for fun, but soon found out this was something I want to do for the rest of my life. My work is hanging in local cafes, Art exhibitions and local markets, Gilles Market and Fleetwood markets in Somerton Park. I have found that my skills is working at a fast - pace and completing something professional. (It could be me being a perfectionist). I had also challenged myself to do abstract, as I felt I wanted things to always be a certain way and with this style you are thinking more outside the box, there is fluidity and movement, "odd" looking shapes, colours that are not "aesthetic." This was all to simply challenge myself. From just seeing this as "fun" I have done over 6 commissions - now looking to do more and get into murals, to allow myself to showcase my style and what it can bring to others.
