Meet the Artist
Dublin, IrelandAs a trained mixed media artist with a deep passion for art and graphic design, I have extensive experience in presenting Irish and international work.
I am an active member of various esteemed organizations within the art community, including the Design & Craft County Council, Visual Artists Ireland, the Arts Council, and Design Ireland.
My journey in the art world began during my childhood, where I developed a strong affinity for painting, drawing, and design. To further enhance my skills, I pursued my education at the State Secondary School of Fine Arts.
For over a decade, I have been working as an artist in Ireland, establishing a reputable presence in the industry.
I currently own two art brands that have gained recognition and a loyal following. "The Little Dearies," established in 2012, transports viewers into a magical world of Irish fairies and peculiar creatures.
My creations from this brand have been supplied to renowned establishments such as Shannon Heritage Group, Carrols Gift Shops, Leprechaun Museum, EPIC Ireland, Blarney Castle & Gardens, Waterford Treasures, Medieval Museum, and many others, both in Ireland and overseas.
In 2019, I launched "didART studio - framed your life," offering customized art created through various mixed media techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpting, 3D arts, and art prints.
My artworks from this brand have been showcased in prestigious locations such as Castlematyr Gallery, Argillan Castle, and The Design House in Dublin.
I have also received notable accolades, including the Awards Luxembourg Art Prize and
Biafarin Gallery Award. I am also recognized as Celebrities Dog Portrait Artist. I have painted and be mentioned:
Sioda - President of Ireland dog,
Popular celebrity dogs like Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund, Romeo Adventures, Tuna Melt My Heart.
Additionally, since September 2022, I have been providing art classes in Fingal Community Centres and the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre. I also conduct individual workshops in my own studio located in Swords.
To showcase my work and engage with a wider audience, I maintain an online presence through my websites and social media platforms.
I actively engage with art enthusiasts through Facebook and Instagram sharing updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and inspirations from my creative journey.
Overall, my experience as a trained mixed media artist, coupled with my involvement in various art organizations and successful art brands, enables me to effectively present Irish and international work, bridging the gap between creativity and the audience.
My mixed media artist knowledge nclude a lot of creative art techniques:
- Fimo and other types of modelling clay practice
- acrylic pouring
- painting (acrylic, watercolours)
- dot painting (mandalas)
- drawing (pencils, watercolour pencils, markers)
