Ciao my name is Minerva, Italian born multidisciplinary artist based at Ashmore Arts studios, Torquay Surf Coast, Victoria. Muralist, illustrator, live performer, creative mind with international experience. With a background in children's book illustration, public art and performance, I have always been passionate to balance creativity with education, community connection, brand promotion and unique commissions for a variety of custom enquires. I've been painting, drawing, creating and performing in Europe and Australia working across many creative fields. These include large and small scale murals, frescoes, watercolour illustrations, drawing, design, canvas art advancing multimedia technique to fuse a unique thread between painting and the spectacle arts. Launched the Mivart_Creative brand in 2018, focused in bringing illustration to life with a unique blend of imagination and movement to every project, known for captivating murals, intricate illustrations, innovative performances my work bursts with colour, life and whimsical storytelling. Sparked by my passion for mural art, working at heights performing from an aerial silk, challenging myself in exploring new art forms and ways to pursue ideas, pushing the limits of what's possible has allowed me to create the Aerial Painting technique, an innovative pioneering style based on intuitive painting motion. Educational public mural projects linked with QR code, school workshops, private commissions, inspired by nature and it's alchemy I love incorporating local flora and fauna into my designs, and working on large scale walls. When I work with children my aim is to spark and inspire them, showing what the creative art industry looks like and the potential it holds for those who wish to develop and pursue a creative career in the future. I love problem solving spaces with creative solutions, mural art holds the power of transforming an environment, problem solving, restoring the look and feel of a space by improving the qualities and values. The visual impact and colour vibrancy can define the characteristics of a location highlighting the beauty of it, bringing enjoyment and inspiration.
