This is a mural I was commissioned for a boy's bedroom.
Meet the Artist
Stoke-on-Trent, United KingdomHi, I’m Charne! I am a South African born portraiture artist living in Stoke-on-Trent, England. I have a (BA) Fine Arts degree and many years of experience in different areas of the creative sector.
As you will see in my portfolio, I am skilled in a variety of creative disciplines. Although I describe myself as a portraiture artist, I am extremely dynamic and flexible in my art, and I enjoy tackling a variety of subject matter. I love a challenge, and therefore find myself learning new disciplines and applying my creativity in any way possible.
I believe that my curiosity in exploring different materials and avenues translates well into my design work, as it has given me the ability to ensure that each client will have something that is uniquely theirs. I can work according to the brief given, and I love working with clients to come up with unique designs for their personal needs. I am able to work more abstractly and simply, but I also enjoy working with figures or, of course, portraits.
