ADL Fringe Poster Competition on the top 40 finalists 2025
ADL Fringe is the biggest art festival in Australia. The competition of theme in 2025 was “One for all and all for one”.
Title of the art work: Treasure
The poster highlights my experience as a Korean moving to Australia and experiencing Adelaide Fringe for the first time. The Tiger is the representative of Korea, and it shares their Fringe adventure searching for the hidden gems around the state. One for all and all for one emphasises what makes Fringe great, it is made of all types of people with different backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles, coming together to create something magical, a treasure to behold.
Meet the Artist
Adelaide, AustraliaHello! I'm Hyemin, an illustrator based in South Australia. I've developed my art branding since 2018. I've successfully reached out to an audience of over 70,000 on Instagram, 14,700 on YouTube. Procreate is the main tool to create characters, background, concept art and other creative tasks.
The majority of my audience often describe my art style as cute, cozy, wholesome vibe.
I like using dry textured brushes such as pencils and craton brushes.
My inspiratin is mostly the experience from my childhood and the moments I would love to share to the audience. When I approach doing a scenery in the illustration, I write a short story to and illustrate it.
