Ad sidera tollere vultus by SIGUE in Barcelona

Hey, I’m Sigue, a Chilean visual artist, muralist, and art therapist based in Barcelona. My work moves between painting, muralism, and mixed media, with a strong focus on emotional expression and personal exploration. My style is influenced by surrealism and is defined by the use of color as a primary language, creating work with strong identity and symbolic depth. I’m especially interested in creating pieces connected to nature, the human experience, and the mystical. I have worked across different formats, from canvas pieces to murals and collaborative projects, collaborating with a variety of spaces, people, and contexts. I also take on commissioned work, developing custom pieces tailored to each project and client. In addition, I facilitate classes and workshops where art and therapy intersect, creating safe spaces for self-exploration through painting. I especially enjoy working on a large scale, experimenting with materials, and adapting each project to its context and the people who inhabit it. For me, art is a tool for connection, transformation, and honest expression.
