Abstract Mood Wall by Pete in Wakefield
Abstract Mood Wall
Texture and colour was the key to this abstract mood wall commission. Covering 48 feet in total this feature wall follows brand colour guidelines and has deep textures you can touch and feel. Made up of six 8 X 8ft wood panels, hand painted with every water based medium and tool available, finished with a clear satin protective coating... it was definitely fun to do!

Wakefield, United KingdomFor over 30 years I have been a noteworthy contributor in the commercial creative industry, providing high calibre hand painted and digital illustration and design.
Offering a collaborative design process, working alongside the customer to identify the ideal path to creating eye-catching, WoW factor, public engagement.
I revel in the texture, freedom and flow of paint and I am often found splattered in colour from head to toe.
As much at home working on high profile product campaigns with uncompromising strict brand guidelines, as I am painting pooh bear surfing a Cornish beach for your child's playroom.
I have spent the last year working closely with marketing and content team at Studio Retail to create a unique ‘Brand Aware’ working environment across their multiple studio spaces, creating murals, scenic backdrops and faux finishes, working within brand guidelines to an open flexible brief.
