Absolut Tan 2025
8ft wide by 12 ft tall mural done in 2 days with chalk & tempera. The mural is inspired by another mural I created 20 years ago. Back then I accidentally found out how to create 3D anomorphic murals and years later found a solid formula to keep creating 3D illusions. Since the prior mural, I have always been curious to recreate this mural, here's to 20 years later!
Meet the Artist
Los Angeles, United StatesI am an artist based in Los Angeles. I work in a variety of mediums both traditional and digital. Bringing beauty & humor to the world is what inspires me to create. I love creating paintings that involve the environment. I love to leave room for a little improvising to incorporate surrounding structures into my work as well as public interaction. My core discipline is creating large anamorphic murals. I create 3D illusions on floors, as well as walls or a combination of surfaces. I have created murals all around the US and around the world over the years. In my trajectory of creating anamorphic paintings, I learned skills in digital software such as Blender, Nomad, Substance Painter, Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate to name a few. This path has opened the door to produce art in various disciplines. I'm also a 3D modeler, digital sculptor, texturing, retopology and rigging. My interest in Blender comes from being able to create detailed references for my painting/murals. I can also work with anyone who is interested in 3D work for animation, video games etc.
