A tribute to Carrington by Jessica Volpe in Toronto

I recently moved to Toronto after living in Southern California for the last seven years. I blend playful surreal images with bold colors to create imagined worlds. My meticulously planned images, packed with Freudian undertones, combine slapstick with intelligence. My specialties include children's book illustration, caricature, conceptual illustration and character development. I has exhibited her work in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and Toronto.
