A Living Entity 2019
This mural was created for the Surf Coast Councils (Victoria) 1st inaugural public art commission. Working in collaboration with creative director Maxine Bazeley and First Nation artist Billy Jay O'Tool, a proud Wadawurrung man living on his traditional country. The mural examines our connection to nature and respect for the environment we live in and asks viewers to think about their relationship to the enviorment. It depicts symbols from Billy's cultural heritage, displaying his connection to his traditional lands and is overlaid with images created by Clare depicting images of flora and fauna from the Surf Coast Region including the Crow.
Vipond acrylic mural paints on concrete wall. 1.5mtrs x 7mtrs
Funded by Surf Coast Shire Council and Regional Arts Victoria
