I am a Boston-based artist and a Visual Arts teacher at the high school level. Holding a Master's degree in Visual Arts and Fine Arts, I have been actively involved in my community's Arts discourse for the past 25 years. As a dedicated advocate for the Arts, I firmly believe in the importance of fostering artistic engagement within our community and among our youth. Throughout my career, I have led numerous initiatives, ranging from participation on local Arts Boards to working with youth within the Massachusetts detention system. Notably, the state's youth detention centers feature 32 large-scale murals throughout the Central region of Massachusetts. These murals were created as part of a state-led initiative focused on job readiness and the Department of Youth Services (DYS). My students were compensated for their work while acquiring valuable skills that they could later apply to create murals in their own neighborhoods. In addition to my work with young people, I collaborate with professional clients across the country, producing large-scale murals for businesses, homeowners, and municipalities. My experiences reflect a deep commitment to the transformative power of the Arts and the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities alike.
