65 Chevy Mural: Hand Painted Wall Mural
A Mural For A Work Shed
Hand Painted Wall Mural
Pete’s Shed - Yellow Rock, NSW
This mural was a unique project, blending graffiti and automotive passion with urban flair.
Pete approached me with a vision inspired by his favourite car, a '65 Chevy Coupe in blue, which he wanted to feature front and centre in a nightscape. Alongside the car, he envisioned graffiti-style elements with the title "Pete’s Shed" and a cityscape background. Pete provided an AI-generated image as a starting point, which added a level of complexity but ultimately helped speed up the design process.
The mural took 9 days to complete, with 4-hour sessions each day, allowing me to work in the peaceful space of Pete's shed. I used Montana Black spray cans for the car and graffiti elements, outdoor house paint for the background, and a lot of blue tape to ensure clean lines. The family was incredibly respectful and flexible, giving me the space I needed to bring Pete’s vision to life.
Pete was thrilled with the final piece, and the mural added a bold, vibrant energy to his shed, capturing the essence of his love for his car and the creative spirit of the space.
