2022 Salient Centerfold Cover - Environment

I was given an amazing opportunity by VUW's Salient to work on a cover and comic for their "Environment" issue! My take was based on the idea of a post-apocalyptic world where humanity became extinct and what was left are anthropomorphic-like animal roaming around their new flourished home. This followed a comic where it's nothing too deep but basically humans suck and LET NATURE BLOOM!!! Hey, I'm Raad, aka Starfiesh on socials! I'm a Maldivian artist in Wellington, New Zealand, specializing in Sketching, Illustration, Painting, Comics, and Concept Art. I bring dynamic drawings to life, love vibrant poses, and thrive on character design. Drawing became my escape from the boredom of my small hometown, adding excitement to life! Known for my expressive style, I'm not confined to one and prioritize flexibility to meet client needs. Eager to explore new avenues like animation, children's books, and murals – I love taking on new challenges!
