Oil on canvas 78 x 60" (200 x 150 cm) Made in April of 2021 in Kyiv, Ukraine Second canvas from the bitmap surrealism portrait series I've never finished because of war in my country started. About the project: Painting series was aimed at reflection in search of an inexhaustible source of strength, courage of Ukrainian women and at the same time their fragility, as the foundation of Ukrainian society through the prism of an artistic method, exploring the edges of contact between the eras of traditional and digital arts. The interface of the raster editor was first made with oil paints on linen canvas. The methods of the classical realistic style of painting in the style of the Little Dutch are at the same time an element of digital collage.
