"The Tales of Nekomata"

This piece is part of my personal body of work, created with a traditional technique of colored pencils and pen on cardstock. With delicate and minimal lines, it evokes the mythical figure of the Nekomata —the cat woman of Japanese folklore—, carrying her umbrella and pipe as symbols of elegance and mystery. Every line holds a secret, like the hidden tails of the Nekomata. I am open to custom commissions inspired by this illustration.
