'The Half Virgin Balance'
This painting comes directly from a dream. Suspended in the grand theatre of existence, the half-virgin floated away in her boat, surrounded by the vast expands of the ocean. On one side of the boat lay her heart, on the other, a double faced bird, embodying duality and choice.

Meet the Artist
Barcelona, SpainLaura Erviti (Barcelona,1990) is a contemporary surrealist painter and environmental artivist. She is currently represented long term by Artevistas Gallery, in the heart of Barcelona (Born and Gotic).
Having studied in Barcelona, Berlin and London, she focuses her creative practice on painting canvas and murals that absorb CO2. Sensations and emotions unfold organically in her compositions, blending dreams, environmentalism, and activism.
