Summer is Back | LA MAQUINISTA, Barcelona by ZuriK in Barcelona

This intervention was carried out within the framework of the “Urban Walls” festival, held in the summer of 2021 by one of the largest shopping centers in Barcelona: La Maquinista. In general terms, the approach was simple: They wanted to evoke the sensation of summer, vacations, fun and enjoyment in the open air that a year before had been due to the pandemic; This festival served as a re-opening event for the shopping center and included not only murals but also various cultural offerings that lasted approximately 2 weeks.
