"Over the garden sun". by Rey in Montilla
"Over the garden sun".
20x15 cm, acrylic on wooden panel.
A rather quick study of Bella, my sister's late dog.
This picture was taken by our mom on a golden autumn day, back in the garden of our childhood home. Bella loved to hide among our mother's plants, looking for the warmth of the sun. I still remember my sister calling out for Bella, not being able to find her because she was fast asleep. x)
Now that you're beyond the garden sun, I can only hope that you're still warm. You made our lives so much brighter.
- Volveremos a encontrarnos,
cuando regreses,
al otro lado del jardín -

Montilla, SpainI am an Andalusia-based artist.
I'm licensed in Fine Arts and got two master's degrees, in Artistic Production and Graphic Design. Currently I'm working towards being a tattoo artist, too.
I love painting and doing portraits, since that's the closest I feel to writing love letters to those I cherish most.
However, I'd say my heart lies with creating original designs, studying symbolism and phenomenology. So much so, I created a tarot deck (CAMPOSANTO) based on transpersonal psychologic and the oniric world.
I love everything esoteric as much as I love figurative painting.
