This piece of set design was a commission by a company called Hera S.A. in Barcelona, Spain, for the grand inaurgural opening of their recycling facility. The commissioning agents, Hera S.A. requested the art set design and painting of the art work reflect the mechanical structures and machines used in their factory. I therefore used this aspect of the nature of the company as inspiration, and interpreted this in the set design, which can be seen in the 2nd and 3rd panels of the set design pieces in the picture attachedn with the saxophone being represented by metal pipe work. The event was a jazz concert with all employees and local dignitaries being invited.
