"Hello!" Around the World by Kenzie T. Art in Denver
"Hello!" Around the World
I painted this mural for a community art project at the elementary school that I taught at this past year. I asked my students to tell me what they thought of when they think about their school and its community, and I compiled those elements into this mural in the main hallway of their school.
Meet the Artist
Denver, United StatesI am an abstract and realistic painter and collage artist living in the Denver, Colorado area. I recently moved to Colorado earlier this year with my two Cuban Tree Frogs (named Remy and Reggie). I am currently serving students in schools to provide them with arts education in places where it is not aptly funded. I have had a passion for the arts as well as teaching and working with kids, and I aim to continue this journey in the future.
I work with various materials, mainly acrylics and magazines. In my collages, I work with unconventional and peculiar ideas and place items together that the viewer may not immediately recognize or think to place together. I am very inspired by geometric shapes and nature, and am curious about the intersections they may have within the world of art and design.
